A successful Navchethana sivir at Athaloor, Pirayiri, palakkad
The Navchethana sivir came to a successful in athaloor at Pryayiri Near Palakkad town with 89 participants
It came to an end on the naitonal Independence day. The course was for 5 days from 11.8.2010
The course was organised by Sri. Rajan, Sri.Veeran, Sri. Vasanthakumar menon, Sri Krishnakumar and their family members.
In the final day Apex body member Adv.Santhadevi, DDC member Sri. Prajod, TC memebr Sri. Haridas, Basic Course teacher Sri. Ashokan, attended.
Sivir was led by Sri. S. Guruvayurappan

Homage to Dr.Devadas : The man of Art of Living
Dr. DEVADAS
He is the son of Famous Ramankutty Vaidyar of Thatthamangalam.
He was with his wife Dr. Vinodini devadas in participating in the Art of Living basic course at CA High School, Peruvemba, Palakkad.
Before lunch he felt uneasiness and was admitted by AOL Volunteers at Palana Hospital, then to Thangam Hospital, after taking emergency medications He was referred to Coimbatore PSG Hospital But he Passed away at the PSG Hospital.
As his Wish was to live with Sri. Sri. Ravishankar's Principle of Art of living, He practiced AOL a decade ago. And finally, he departed from us while in participating in the course. He enjoyed the last course very much- said.Sri. Jayaprakash, Teacher, AOL (who made arrangement for medication and checkup in time)
We, all are indebted to the service made by Sri Devadas as his service gave new life to hundreds of family all over palakkad.
We all pay our homage to his departed soul and joins with the family members in their deep sorrow.
(Cremation will be performed at his Tharavad house tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock)

A Time to go Inwards
Guruji has indicated that the next few months, upto around the middle of October are not so good and He has advised that we keep three things in mind
1. No adventure trips at all. No trekking, rafting, mountain climbing, etc
2. Cut down on partying and night outs
3. Drive slowly, carefully and don’t leave your house till you have finished your Sadhana
For these few weeks, please be more sattwic, eat at home more, not outside as much as possible…
What i see in this, is it’s an opportunity for all of us to go more inwards. Clean up our life and start up some really good habits.Do all your Sadhana, Surya Namaskars, Padma Sadhana, Sudarshan Kriya, Sahaj. Also do chanting, Om Namah Shivaya and the Guru Pooja if you know it.
Start to read the Bhagavad Geeta and the Yoga Vasishtha … You know you have been wanting to do it, instead of that trek, sit home and read these books. Doesn’t matter if you don’t understand or it is too deep for you, just reading will open something up in you… Read these books just after meditation.
Go Inwards.
Be safe…

Largest Basic course in kerala in Gurupoornima completed
Largest Basic course in kerala in Gurupoornima completed at Kuzhalmannam on sunday (25.7.2010) with 350 participants. The course conducted in 4 batches in a day and combined class in the last days - saturday and Sunday. The program was conducted in Crown Palace auditorium and KMS Hall in Kuzhalmannam.
Art of living Teachers such as Yamuna, Geetha, Ashokan, Jayaprakash, Praveen led the classes in various batches. Sri Saji Yousuf Nissan and Anoop also joined in the Closing ceremony in the last evening at crown palace. With lot of enthusiasam all the participants started Art Of Living.
The course was planned as a Sankalpa as part of Ashtavakra Gita yagnam.
Next course is planned in Crown Palace auditorium on coming Tuesday in two batches. 10 am and 5.30 Pm.
Courses in other centers in the same dates: Palakkad - Puthur, Puthusseri, and in Nemmara. with timing in the evening at 5.30 pm
All course will be for 2 hours and course donation is Rs. 800/- The course will last for 6 days.

Kerala's largest Ashtavakra Githa Yagnam completed
Ashtavakra Githa Yagnam completed at Crown Palace Auditorium, Kuzhalmannam late this night.
The acharyan Sri Saji Yousuf Nissan successfully presented the Gita with a dynamic presentation style. Sri Anoop of Thripunithara performed the deepest Agnihothra yagnam along with the Ashtavakra gita. He also performed the "Thrayambaka Homam" in the last 8 days.
The program was designed for 3 hours including Sri sri Ravishankarji's description on ashtavakra gita, the above mentioned homas, Satsang, and varied processes including meditaion, live experince practices of the knowledges of Ashtavakra Gita.
In the final day (about 2 hours back) Guru pooja was performed by about 250 participants, honoured and shared experiences, gifts, fruits, food, sweets..... along with the ultimate knowledge of Ashta vakra.
The yagnam is known to be the largest ashtavakra gita in the history of kerala with maximum number of participants. And this is the first course of Sri Saji Nissan.

Many People from Art of Living and other common people also benefitted for the divine power and experienced a new life after that.
The program started at 7am yesterday (sunday) and extended up to 9 pm in the evening. Along with Blessing program, satsang, Prasadha distribution, Naadi Pareeksha, formation of Blood doners forum also made. The teacher Co-ordinator Sri Sasikumar, Kerala Apex body member Adv.Santhadevi, Mr. Haridas and AOL Teachers & volunteers took the leadership of the program.

Gurupoornima Special Navchethana Sivir
The course started on 21.7.2010 at 11 am. From the next day the time shifted to 2pm as the participants belong to women folk and as they will be getting more free time in the afternoon.
Sri. S.Guruvayurappan led the class, Sri.Ramesh, Sri.Syamaladas were also participated in the course as NST volunteers. Sri haridas, (Blesser) was the organiser of the course who is also the resident of Viswakarma Nagar. The location is in near Melamuri in Palakkad Town, Kerala.
The participants were asked to do seva for "anugrahotsav" of Swami Jyothirmaya. The volunteers were given notice of the program and also asked to invite atleast 10 participants for Anugrahotsav.
Pariticipants Shared the Prasadas prepared by themself as last activity.
