Diabetic and Eye checking camp was a success

Free diabetic and Eye checking camp at Guruswamiyar Matom, Mettupalayam Tattamangalam in Palakkad District was a successful by completing target of 200 participants
The camp was inagurated by Art of Living CDC co-ordinator of Tattamangalam Subcentre Sri Chandran Pallathampully and AOL Senior member Sri.Sundaran Karthika by liting a lamp in Gurumatom auditorium. Ahalya Doctors led the diagnosis process. Sri Gosh and Ward member falicitated the camp. Art of Living Tejus Youth Leaders club district President Sri. S.Guruvayurappan presided over the function.

AOL Volunteers Rajesh D, Kishore D, Pranav, Dhaneh U, Prachod, Aakash, Praveen KC, Akshay, Karthik, Suresh D, Sudarsanan S, Manimeghala S, Krishnaveni D, Malarvizhi, Umamaheswari S, Gaiathri S, Valliammal KS took the leadership for various activities. Aashrayam Rural Development Society Memebrs of Kollengode also supported the Program.

Over 15 catract operations and 80 eye treatment were provided to participants. Most of the medical services were made at free of cost to the patients.A team of 17 members including doctors and nurses from Ahalya Foundation were ready to render their service in the camp.

The camp started at 10 AM and came to an end at 2 PM.

A lunch was arranged in the Matom by AOL for about 50 people which was made by the contribution of cash, kind, material and labour by big minded people form AOL and rest of the society.

The space and facility was offered at subsidised rent by Sri.Thiruvenkitam, owner of the Matom. Press and media peorsons made their best service to bring maximum people.
