ചിറ്റൂര്‍: താലൂക്ക് ലീഗല്‍ സര്‍വീസസ് കമ്മിറ്റി, ചിറ്റൂര്‍ ബാര്‍ അസോസിയേഷന്‍, എന്‍.എസ്.എസ്. യൂണിറ്റ് എന്നിവയുടെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തില്‍ മാഞ്ചിറ ടെക്‌നിക്കല്‍ ഹൈസ്‌കൂളില്‍ വി.എച്ച്.എസ്.ഇ. വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികള്‍ക്കായി പരിസ്ഥിതിസംരക്ഷണക്ലാസ് നടത്തി. ചിറ്റൂര്‍ മുന്‍സിഫ് ആര്‍. വിനായകറാവു ഉദ്ഘാടനംചെയ്തു. പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പല്‍ പ്രദീപ് അധ്യക്ഷനായി.

Basic course completed in Chittur

Basic Course Part 1 was a turning point to all the participants.

A new experice and shift in attitude towards other in the family and society was shared by the participants. Un believable experiences were shared by some of the participants on the last day.

A Total of 10 participants completed the course. Geetha S was the teacher.

The course started on 20 in Lightning and Thunder at 5 PM was another memorable experince. A new hope and life style was found on the participants on last day. community lunch was also a special experience to the participants. People from Atheist group, Communist Party, Press, Teaching community, Student community, Professional Business personals, village residents sat on same ground and undergone various process including Sudarsana Kriya, meditations, Yogas, Pranayamas etc.Support form Mr. Sasikumar, Head of the SSKASNUPSchool and his family members was a notable leadership in the course. Navchethna sivir conducted for the first time in Chittur - Palakkad

The first Nav chethna sivir for 5 days conducted in Chittur between 10 and 14th February, 2009.

venue: Kamakshi amman temple Maidan, Vadakkathara, Chittur.

Time: 5 to 7 Pm

on fourth day, Blessing along with Deeksha time extended to 9.15 pm because of hundreds of people from the village were on queue.(may more than 500 people) At that time a group of persons claimed to be CPM leaders of vadakkathara asked to stop the function because they will not allow Sri Sri Ravishankar's program there.

As it was continuining for the past 3 days and making no disturbance to any of the villagers and also those who came to block, giving satisfactory reasons of the process going on the venue, some of them were able to realise the fact, as the villagers are supporting the program.


Though worked against the program and threat alerted on us for the 5th days program,the youth club president and members (part of the opponents)gave providingsupport by allocating the club hall to conduct the program in its own way.
(We are thankful to the club members)

More than 100 people participated in the course.

These incidents made a mass publicity to the program and also a confidence to the villagers and they say this successful completion of the program is a MIRACLE in their life.

Being the Navchethana Sivir Teacher, This is my first course. Mr. Praveen chandran - nav chethna teacher made the blessing activity.

YLTPs Mr. Suresh, Mr.Velliangiri, Mr.K.C.Praveen and other volunteers Mr.Prajod Prabhakar, Mr.Dhanesh, and Mr.Pranav contributed their sincere effort and time to make the program a Success.

Mission Green Earth Launched

The project of Standup and Take action for attaining the Mission Green Earth of United Nations and Art of living Foundation launched in Government College Chittur- Palakkad by the AOL Tattamanglam sub-centre today 18.10.2008. (The Mission aims at planting of 10,00,00,000 in india before 19th October 2008). The activity is implemented by the NCC Unit of the college.

About 350 participants from NCC cadets and other students of College actively involed in the the activities. A Briefing about the mission green earth, its necessasity, the problem of Global warming and poverty was made by S.Guruvayurappan of AOL.

Major.Ramachandran - The officer in charge of NCC- 27-Kerala Lakshadweep Betalian precided over the function and inaugurated the planting activity. The pledge taking and distribution of plant saplings done at Physics Gallery of the College.
About 1000 plants of Bamboo and some number of other medicianally important plants planted Today at the college campus.

The planting will continue to some more days with the participation of many more students of this college in the coming days.

Aashrayam Rural Development Society members managed to collect and supplied the saplings at free of cost and also actively participated in the planting operations.
